Exciting Announcement: 2025 Standing on the Shoulders of Heroes Gala Honoree!

The Stonewall National Museum, Archives, & Library is thrilled to announce that Tristan Schukraft, known as “The CEO of Everything Gay,” will be the 2025 honoree at our third annual Standing on the Shoulders of Heroes Gala on March 1, 2025, in Wilton Manors.

“When a businessperson makes decisions that intentionally preserve and protect LGBTQ+ history and culture, we at Stonewall take notice,” said the Museum’s executive director, Robert Kesten. “Tristan is investing in some of the most legendary properties in our community’s history. His commitment to our mission of preserving and protecting queer villages is especially significant as global anti-queer actions are increasing. With dedicated individuals like Tristan in the fight, our future looks very bright.”

Tristan Schukraft is a technology entrepreneur turned hotelier, nightlife aficionado, and producer. He founded MISTR, the largest telemedicine platform dedicated to HIV prevention and long-term HIV care. Tristan also produced the Off-Broadway show Drag: The Musical. His hospitality and nightlife portfolio includes The Tryst beachfront hotel and Circo nightclub in San Juan, Puerto Rico, The Tryst in Puerto Vallarta, and iconic LGBTQ+ venues like The Abbey & The Chapel in West Hollywood, California, DS Tequila in Northalsted in Chicago, and The Blue Whale, The Pavilion Nightclub, The Canteen and more in The Pines on Fire Island. The Tryst Fire Island is set to open next year.
