MAER ROSHAN

Maer Roshan is an Iranian-American editor, writer, and media entrepreneur who currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of The Hollywood Reporter.
Appointed to the role in September 2023, Roshan boasts a distinguished multi-platform media career spanning over two decades. He previously served as the Editor-in-Chief of Los Angeles Magazine from 2019 to 2023 and has held senior editorial leadership roles at prominent publications including New York Magazine (where he was Deputy Editor for nearly seven years), Interview, and Talk.
A prolific media innovator, Roshan has independently founded several notable print and digital startups, including Radar, the recovery-focused news site TheFix.com, and the award-winning LGBTQ weekly NYQ, which was eventually acquired by Time Inc.
His extensive freelance journalism has been featured in major outlets such as The New York Times, The New Republic, and Harper’s Bazaar. His work has earned numerous accolades, including 12 ASME nominations, 19 Webby Awards, and a recognition by New York Magazine as one of the 50 most influential people in American media
JASON STUART
Chair SAG-AFTRA LGBTQ+ Committee
Jason Stuart is a prolific American character actor, stand-up comedian, and dedicated labor activist who serves as the Chair of the SAG-AFTRA National LGBTQ+ Committee.
After years of working in Hollywood, Stuart chose to come out publicly in 1993 on a historic episode of Geraldo, subsequently becoming one of the industry’s most visible and pioneering openly gay performers. In 2004, he co-founded the union’s first-ever committee dedicated to LGBTQ+ performers to champion workplace equality and broader industry representation.
With nearly 200 film and television credits to his name, Stuart has appeared in everything from mainstream hits like Kindergarten Cop and Vegas Vacation to acclaimed independent features such as Tangerine and Love Is Strange. He also co-created and starred in the hit Amazon comedy series Smothered, which won him an Indie Series Award for Best Actor in a Comedy. Beyond the screen, he is a nationally touring stand-up comic, an in-demand diversity speaker, and the author of the poignant memoir, Shut Up, I’m Talking!
ALEXANDER RODRIGUEZ

Alexander Rodriguez is an entertainment personality, journalist, and media executive who serves as the publisher of the Los Angeles Blade, Southern California’s leading LGBTQ+ news outlet.
Appointed to the role in February 2025 following the passing of founding publisher Troy Masters, Rodriguez guides the publication’s strategic growth, community partnerships, and civic event series across Southern California. He has a long-standing footprint in queer media, previously working as a lead writer and contributor for prominent publications like Metrosource Magazine, GED Magazine, and Instinct Magazine. Widely recognized as a dynamic host, he produces and fronts the popular syndicated entertainment talk show and podcast On the Rocks with Alexander on iHeartRadio.
Beyond his executive and broadcast roles, Rodriguez has an extensive background in event planning and corporate business development, frequently serving as an emcee for major Pride festivals across the nation and performing as an accomplished cabaret singer.

A pioneering force in queer journalism, Bull has spent more than three decades shaping national conversations around LGBTQ+ politics, culture, and community life.
Throughout his career, Bull has championed authentic storytelling and built platforms that amplify LGBTQ+ voices at scale. Under his editorial leadership, Q.Digital reaches millions of readers each month, offering trusted reporting, cultural commentary, and community‑driven content that reflects the breadth and vibrancy of queer life in America.
In addition to his work in digital media, Bull is the author and editor of several influential books, including Perfect Enemies: The Religious Right, the Gay Movement, and the Politics of the 1990s, a landmark examination of the political forces that shaped modern LGBTQ+ advocacy. His writing has appeared in major national publications, and his contributions have helped document and contextualize pivotal moments in LGBTQ+ history.
