Thomas Casserly

Tom Casserly (he/him/his) joined the Stonewall National Museum, Archives & Library in November 2024 as Office Manager. Upon receiving a Master’s in Library Science from Simmons University in Boston, Tom worked for Boston University Libraries for twenty-six years, ending his tenure as Associate University Librarian for Undergraduate & Distance Learning.  Tom remains forever a reference librarian, dedicated to helping connect people with the information they need.  He has been active with Gay Fathers of Greater Boston since 1996, a regional support and social group for gay men with children, where new members typically negotiate coming out while continuing to support their families.  Tom recently moved to South Florida, having lived in New England, primarily Rhode Island, previously.
